Day 1

I just made my very first apron ever. It turned out great. I still need some practice though. The fabric was of cooking untensils and the waistband and ruffles was of a plain red. I am advertising for the FIRST TIME in Country Sampler for the Christmas issue that comes out late November I believe. Without my moms help none of this would be possible. I wouldn't even know where to begin. She has a blog herself and business. www.oldecountrycupboard.blogspot.com
This is the first apron I have made so far:

I have my two dogs I love dearly also. The are always so full of energy. Harley is a Miniture Doberman Pincher and Hurley is a mutt. She is mixed with pitbull and bulldog. They are both very young dogs. Harley wont be one year old until September 25th and Hurley is about a year and 3 months now.

Hi Samantha! You did a wonderful job on your first apron! Way to go! I have been a customer/friend of your Mom's for a long time and you are so Blessed to have her and your Dad. I know she is proud of you for sewing and for sharing her love of sewing. The stitchery pillows that you have made for your Mom's shows have been wonderful, so I know you will be very successful with your Country Sampler ads. Congratulations, Good Luck and God Bless! Congratulations on your first apron! It is just beautiful...you already have me wanting to try one myself. I love all that your mom does and am sure you will have wonderful creations too. I look forward to seeing all the things you create and hope that you'll consider doing apron patterns as I'd love to see that. I'd like to offer you a free e-pattern from my pattern line to get you started on some doll projects so just email if you're interested in one. All my patterns are down the left side of my blog.

Congratualtions again and I wish you the best!!!!

Good luck with your new venture--you are more brave than I am. But--you have the best teacher ever--I love your mom's blog, patterns, etc. I'm amazed at how fast she completes things--takes me days! I'm sure you'll do great!

Cute Apron! You need to model it, so we can really see what it looks like! Have fun sewing! Just keep your supplies away from your dogs! They might want to try and help you a little too much!
